Everett Larcom

Everett L. Larcom, 82, of Zion, IL passed away on July 18, 2014. Everett was born January 6, 1932 in Chicago, IL. He married Reta J. Logan on March 4, 1955 in Chicago. Everett served his country in the Korean War with the United States Army. He retired from Johnson Motors in Waukegan, IL. He is survived by his children Deborah Drake, Joseph (Lynda) Larcom, Dwayne Larcom, Lorelei Myers and Janine Munsterman; 10 grand children; and his great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Reta in 1973; daughter Caroline Larcom; father Claude Larcom; and mother Theda Larcom. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion with Rev. Phyllis Miller of the Sprit of Life Pentecostal Church of Zion, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. A visitation will take place on Thursday, July 25, 2014 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
