F. Kristine Buhnerkemper, 65, of Waukegan, IL passed away suddenly on May 20, 2018.
Kristine was born on June 20, 1952 in Waukegan, IL to Richard and Laura (nee Warthen) Kutzler. She attended Waukegan schools, graduating in 1970. On October 4, 1975, she married Maurice Buhnerkemper at Saint Bartholomew Church in Waukegan. Kristine was employed as an Executive Assistant with KIX Kutzler Express. She loved her dogs, Sabre and Moya, enjoyed shopping on Amazon and watching the squirrels. Kristine was the head of the Neighborhood Watch.
Kristine is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Maurice; father, Richard; brother, Frank (Vicky) Kutzler and numerous nieces nd nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Laura and brother, Scott.
In lieu of flowers, donations to ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929, in Kristine’s name would be appreciated.
A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL 60099.
