Faye L. Crum (nee Larsen), 82, of Zion died on October 20, 2016 in Pleasant Prairie, WI.
Faye was born April 19, 1934 in Arthur, IA. She has lived in Zion for the past 55 years and prior to that in Antigo, WI. Faye worked as a hostess at both Starlite Restaurant in Zion and Javelin Restaurant in Waukegan. Before that she worked as a Nurse’s Aid at Sheridan Health Care Center in Zion and she worked as a clerk at the Credit Bureau in Waukegan. For the last few years she was a caretaker for her late mom and her late daughter. Faye loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her children Lisa Crum-Cliff of Winthrop Harbor, IL, Terry Crum of Antigo, WI, and Danny Crum of Mantachie, MS; twelve grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Deborah Ehemann, September of 1999; and her parents Eilert and Agnes Larsen; and one sister and five brothers.
Visitation will be Monday, October 24, 2016, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be Tuesday, October 25th, at 1:00 p.m. at Runkel Cemetery in Junction City, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Cancer Society have been suggested.
