Frank J. Balistreri Jr., 94, of Milwaukee, WI, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at Hospice House. Pleasant Prairie, WI.
Frank was born August 23, 1918, in Milwaukee, WI, and married his late wife, Helen Janeczko on April 25, 1942, in Milwaukee. He served with the U.S. Army in World War II. He retired from the Milwaukee Gas Company (now WE Energies) after 40 years of employment. Frank was a dedicated employee and strong family man.
Survivors include his children, Robert (Frances) Balistreri of Gurnee, IL, Ronald (Jill) Balistreri of Otisfield, ME, and Barbara (Paul) Theilig of St. Peters, MO; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Steve (Lorraine) Balistreri, Tony Balistreri; sister, Theresa Hepner; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Beatrice Balistreri; sister, Angeline Cozza; brother, Joe Balistreri; sister, Loretta Tolfa; brother, Mike Balistreri; brother-in-law, Jim Hepner; and sister-in-law, Betty Balistreri.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 10:30 a. m. at Church of St. Patrick, 15000 Wadsworth Rd., Wadsworth, IL. Entombment will be private at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Milwaukee, WI. Friends may greet the family on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at the Church.
