Gail Jean Espinosa

Gail Jean Espinosa age 61 of Zion, Illinois was called home by her personal Savior Jesus Christ, on May 27th 2015. She was born October 14th 1953 to Wayne and Jean Gardner of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois. She was a graduate of Zion Benton High School in 1971 and married her high school sweetheart, Steve Espinosa, in 1972. Soon after she became a loving mother of five children. Gail was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing and baking for her family and friends. She was a mother to all whom needed that motherly love. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Steve, and her children Gina (Martin) Reyes, Tara (Victor) Herrera, Steven (Carrie) Espinosa, Carmen Espinosa (Kenneth Bruno) and Kristin Herrera. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Terrance Harris II, Julian Ruiz, Jamila Herrera, Steven Espinosa II, Adela Ruiz, Victor Herrera, Noah Espinosa, Destiny Herrera, Kimani Espinosa, Alexia Herrera and Kadaris Bruno. She was also survived by her siblings David (Sandra) Gardner, Carol Gardner, Mary (Rick) Whited, Wayne Gardner, Patricia Moore, Eric (Kim) Gardner, and many extended family members who she loved dearly. Gail was preceded in death by her brother; Joseph Gardner (1989), mother; Jean Gardner (1994), father; Wayne Gardner (2011), and brother in law Bobby Moore (2010). A celebration of her life will be held Monday, June 1st, 2015 at 5:00pm at Beach Bible Church located at 3520 21st street, Zion, Illinois, 60099.
