Gene P. Svendsen, of Waukegan, IL, died October 26, 2017 at Presence St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL.
Gene was born August 10, 1973 to Gene and Sandy Svendsen in Lake Forest, IL. He was a long time resident of Round Lake Beach where he attended Round Lake High School. He enjoyed fishing with his loved ones and reading.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Sandy and brother, Wes.
Gene was preceded in death by his father, Gene; maternal grandparents Gladys and Raymond Otis; paternal grandparents, Lois and Wesley Svendsen; godmother, Sally Muellner; aunt, Peggy Svendsen and uncle, Ronald Silvers.
A memorial visitation will take place on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL.
