Harold Skoglund

Harold Oliver Skoglund Jr., 71, died on Friday, March 2, 2012, at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago, IL. Harold was born January 7, 1941 in Oak Park, IL, and lived in the Chicago area most of his life. He graduated from Evanston Township High School in 1960. Harold formerly attended the Memorial United Methodist Church in Zion. He served with the United States Army from 1963-1965. Survivors include a brother, Jon Carl Skoglund of Amherst, MA; sister, Linnea Netterstrom of Rogers, AR; one niece and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Ruth Skoglund. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie, IL.
