Holly Lynn Habecker, 50, of Greensboro, NC died on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Moses Cone Hospital.
Holly was born October 15, 1961 in Seoul, S. Korea and was the youngest daughter of the late Lester and Wiladene Congdon Koetz. She came to America at age 21 months through the Harry Holt Adoption agency. She was naturalized at age 4. She was an avid reader and especially enjoyed spending time with her son Ryan. She was warm and compassionate to everyone she met. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all.
Surviving in addition to her son Ryan is her husband Dan; brothers Ozzie Koetz of Gurnee, IL, Harry Koetz of Zion, IL, and David Koetz of Winthrop Harbor, IL; sisters Anne Miller and Opal Spanton of Zion, IL and Kimberly Kim of Winthrop Harbor, IL; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 5, 2012, from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at Grace Missionary Church, 1415 27th Street, Zion, IL followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Memorials may be directed to Susan G. Komen For The Cure, 8765 W.
