Isabelle Ida Leveque (nee Sandretto), 92, went to meet her Lord on October 21, 2015, at her residence Casa Del Mare in Kenosha, WI.
Isabelle was born on Nov. 29, 1922, to John and Louise Sandretto (nee Longpre) in Calumet, Michigan where she attended school. Isabelle married Francis Leveque at St. Anne Church in Calumet, MI in June of 1947. The couple moved to Waukegan, IL in 1949. Isabelle raised 3 sons while also working at North Shore Catering Service and Waukegan School system cafeteria. Isabelle was a member of Our Lady of Humility in Zion, IL. Isabelle moved to Port Charlotte, Florida after retirement where she lived until relocating back to the Midwest to be closer to family. Isabelle enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going to church; she loved playing cards and getting her nails done. She especially loved to go home to Michigan during family vacations. Isabelle will be greatly missed by her family and remembered as a loving Mother and Grandmother.
Isabelle is survived by her children, John (Sheila) Leveque, Dennis (Mary Jo) Leveque and Daryl (Debra) Leveque, grandchildren, Daniel (Katrina) Leveque, TJ (Becky) Leveque, Andrew Leveque, Kimberly (Richard) Armour, Ryan (Kristin) Leveque, Kerry Leveque and Caitlyn Leveque, great grandchildren Tiara Leveque, Rowan Armour, and Leo Leveque. Siblings, Ralph (Nim) Sandretto, Nathleen Curtis, sister-in-laws Cathryn Sandretto and Diane Leveque and several nephews and nieces.
Isabelle is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Francis (Bud) of 31 years, John Meyers who was her companion for several years, her brothers Basil, Raymond, sisters-in-law Maxine, Marion, and Margaret, and brothers-in-law Robert Leveque, Fortunate Curtis and two nephews.
A visitation will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Humility Church, 10655 W. Wadsworth Road, Beach Park. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
