Diliberti, Jack J. 66, of Pleasant Prairie, WI, formerly of Zion, IL, died on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at St. Catherine's Hospital, in Pleasant Prairie.
He was born July 5, 1947, in Chicago, lL, and was a retired printer. Jack served with Zion E.S.D.A. for over 25 years and retired as their director. He served as a Red Cross EMT/Instructor, a Zion Police Department Auxiliary Officer, and was an instructor of Tae Kwon Do for the Zion Park District. Jack was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his children, Sheena (Eric) Kauppinen of Zion, lL, and Melissa (Tim) Neargarder of Winthrop Harbor, IL; grandchildren, Heather Ashley Kauppinen, Michael Ryan Kauppinen, Samantha Kievy Neargarder, and Andrew Jack Neargarder; sister, Maryellen Colby of Merrionette Park, lL; brother, Chuck (Karen) Diliberti of Wadsworth, lL; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Jack and June Diliberti; and younger brother, Joe Diliberti.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, lL, with a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. Private interment will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery, Union Grove, WI at a later date. Memorial donations to the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery are suggested.
