Jacqueline Tackett

Jacqueline "Jackie" J. Tackett, 45, of Zion, IL passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, July 11, 2014 at home after a tough, but courageous battle with diabetes and cancer. Born December 9, 1968 in Waukegan, IL, she found happiness & enjoyment in making candles, spending time with her grandmother and loving her animals. She is survived by her loving family that will miss her dearly. Her husband of 19 years, Thurman, whom she married in 1995; son Joshua Belanger (Nicole Evans) of Chicago, IL; her father George Belanger; sister Patty Grashen of Kenosha, WI; nieces and nephews Racquel Grashen, Matt Grashen Jr., and Dawn Grashen; and her grandfather Richard Briggs of Winthrop Harbor, IL. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2014, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion.
