James Robert Albert Sr., 60 died suddenly at Vista Medical Center on Sunday, May 16, 2010.
He was a member of Our Lady of Humility Church and attended Our Lady of Humility Elementary School in Zion. He graduated from Carmel High School in 1968. He served in the Army National Guard and was an Emergency Medical Technician for many years. He was a history buff and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Dr. Denise (Thor) Albert-Von Lingen of Pacifica, California, three sons James Albert Jr., Tony and Matthew Albert of Santa Clarita, California. Six grandchildren, Peyton, Carolyn, James III, Pamela, Noah, and Madison. Mother, Barbara Albert, three sisters, Janet (John) Jones, Karen (Rick) Dix, Marcia (Terry) Creekmore, four brothers, Bruce (Mary) Albert, Russell (Janice) Albert, Mark Albert and Scott (Michelle) Albert. Mother-in-Law, Georgia (Eddie) Ramos, Sisters-in-Law, Jeannette (Frank) Phillips and Sandy Pollock and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela (nee Feely) Albert, Father, Arthur Albert, maternal grandparents, Anthony and Josephine Stefanini and paternal grandparents, James and Henrietta Albert and three cousins.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 22 at Our Lady of Humility Church, 10655 W. Wadsworth Rd. Beach Park, IL from 9-10 a.m. with mass following at 10 a.m. Burial will be private.
Memorials may be made to masses in his name at Our Lady of Humility Church or to the Assistance in Healthcare at Midwestern Regional Medical Center 2520 Elisha Ave, Zion, IL.
