James Kenneth Bullock, Sr., affectionately known as Kenny, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 5, 2024 at the age of 84 in Dumas, MS. 

Born on October 14, 1940 in Booneville, MS. Kenny was a man of great character and charm, whose presence enriched the lives of those around him. Kenny was the beloved husband of Joanne Celesnik Bullock, with whom he shared a beautiful and enduring love story. Together, they raised a family that was the center of Kenny's world. He was a devoted father to his daughters, Cherie Milakovic (Dan), Colleen Bryant (Nathan), and Theresa Timko (Craig), and to his son, James Kenneth Bullock, Jr. (Maureen). His legacy continues through his eight grandchildren: Damon , Jimmer, Randie-Lynn, Krista, Katelyn, Alex, Kelsey, Symon; 10 great-grandchildren: Mariah, Gabriella, Amelia, Declan, Keegan, Ryker, Holland, Kasen, Kamdyn, Braxton, and one great-great-grandchild: Ariella, all of whom he adored. The son of the late Leland Hugh Bullock and Mary Etta Jones Bullock, Kenny was one of three brothers, including David Bullock and Charles Bullock. He was a pillar of strength and wisdom in his family, and his guidance will be deeply missed.

Kenny's professional life was marked by his tenure at AMMCO Tools, where he shared his expertise as an automotive instructor. His passion for teaching and his extensive knowledge in his field left a lasting impact on many aspiring professionals.Beyond his work, Kenny was an active member of several car clubs, including the Coachmen Car Club in Waukegan, IL, the Northeast Mississippi Cars and Coffee Club, and the North Mississippi Cruisers Club. His love for automobiles was more than a hobby; it was a way of connecting with friends and fellow enthusiasts who shared his passion.An avid fisherman, spending many trips to Canada with his son. Kenny found solace and joy in the tranquility of nature. He was also a member of the Rock Pile Hunt Club, where he enjoyed the camaraderie of fellow hunters. He and his son Jim enjoyed their annual hunting trip to Iowa for over 50 years. His adventurous spirit led him to embrace the great outdoors, whether he was camping, snowmobiling, hunting, or golfing. His favorite thing was being with his family, especially his wife. Kenny's talents were many, and he was particularly skilled in making his own wine, a craft that combined his love for creating with his enjoyment of sharing with friends and family. His homemade wine was a testament to his patience and attention to detail.Those who knew Kenny would describe him as kind, adventurous, and handy. He had a knack for fixing things, a skill that he generously used to help others. His kindness extended beyond his immediate circle, touching the lives of many in his community.Kenny's adventurous spirit was matched by his warm heart and his ability to make others feel at ease. He lived his life with a sense of purpose and joy, and his memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

As we say goodbye to James Kenneth Bullock, Sr., we celebrate a life well-lived—a life filled with love, laughter, and the pursuit of passions. He has left an indelible mark on the hearts of his family and friends, and his spirit will continue to inspire those who carry his memory.
