James R. Nottingham

James R. Nottingham Sr., 77, of Wadsworth, IL, formerly of Waukegan, IL, passed peacefully surrounded by his children on Sunday, March 15, 2015, at Advocate Condell Medical Center, Libertyville, IL. James was born July 31, 1937, in Waukegan and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a long time partner in Kelley’s Sanitary Service in Wadsworth. James loved racing automobiles and building cars for his children. Survivors include his daughter, Teena Nottingham of Antioch, IL; sons, Terry (Carrie) Nottingham of Bristol, WI, and James Nottingham Jr. of Zion, IL; Pamela "Penny" Nottingham of Zion; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Angela Nottingham. A Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015, from 5:00-8:00 p.m at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
