James R. Stockton, 62, of Antioch, IL, passed away peacefully at home on March 29, 2018.
Jim was born October 13, 1955 in Waukegan, IL, and was a graduate of Zion-Benton Township High School. He was a union carpenter and member of the Local 250 for 34 years. Jim enjoyed watching football and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Bonnie; children, Jenny (Jay) Ratliff, Chloe (Ian) Thoms, and Andy Stockton; grandchildren, Tyler, Megan, Devin, Rory, Matthew, and Elizabeth; mother, Jean; and siblings, Bill Stockton, Tom Stockton, John (Jamie) Stockton, Mary Prusha, Eric (Toni) Stockton, and Sue (John) Gonzales.
He was preceded in death by his father, William; and brothers, Steven and Joey.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private for the family.
