Jean M. Hucker, 77, of Beach Park, IL died on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at home. Jean was born May 18, 1934 in Sheboygan, WI and moved to Waukegan in 1955. She married G. Edward Hucker of Waukegan on August 6, 1955 in Sheboygan. She was a former member of Faith United Methodist Church of Waukegan. Jean worked as an R.N. for a couple of years at Victory Memorial Hospital and had served as Vice President of Hucker Electric in Waukegan. She loved the Northwoods and her cabin in Minocqua, WI. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, G. Edward Hucker; children William (Kimberley) Hucker of Winthrop Harbor, IL, John (Carrie) Hucker of Beach Park, IL, Robert Hucker of Lakeville, MN, and Kristen (Robert) Cade of Beach Park, IL; eight grandchildren Kellie, Daniel, Brittany, Justin, Ashley, Nathan, Amy, and Ethan; three great-grandchildren Christian, Cayden, and Aiden; and one brother William (Shirley) Sills of Sebring, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Louise Sills. Visitation will be Saturday, March 3, 2012, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m., Pastor Jon Wiziarde officiating.
