Jean C. Kastamo

Jean C. Kastamo, (nee Marjamaa), 81, of Kenosha, WI, and formerly of Calumet, MI, passed away on September 29, 2015, at Brookside Care Center, Kenosha, WI. Jean was born June 6, 1934, in Calumet, MI and graduated from Calumet High School in 1952. She married Ronald Kastamo on August 29, 1953, in Calumet, MI. She worked for Illinois Bell for many years. Jean was a talented seamstress. Survivors include her children, Duane (Debra) Kastamo of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Larry (Karen) Kastamo of Winthrop Harbor, IL, Judy (Jim) Torola of Richland Center, WI; and Donna Kastamo of Wadsworth, IL; 21 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and other family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Kastamo; her parents, Arthur and Hilma Marjamaa; and siblings, Earl Marjamaa, Robert Marjamaa, John Marjamaa, Doris Wisuri, and Paul Marjamaa. Funeral services are private for the family.
