Jill C. Brozek, neé Luhmann, 76, of Zion, Illinois, passed away on June 7, 2023 in Libertyville, Illinois.

Jill was born in Sioux City, Iowa on November 21, 1946. Jill and her husband, Charles were married in Stockton, California on June 5, 1971. Jill served in the United States Navy for three years; she then worked for the Department of Defense at Great Lakes Training Center for over 20 years. Jill will be remembered for being a super nana, a swimming and bowling mom, scorekeeper for Little League baseball, and an Ombudswoman. Jill was also a Great Lakes YABA (Young American Bowling Alliance) member. She loved to bowl, make ceramics, and travel, especially to the beaches of Hawaii.

Jill is survived by her husband, Charles J. Brozek; her children, Anthony C. Brozek, Jeffrey E. (Kelly) Brozek and Michael (Jenny) Brozek; grandchildren, Gabrielle Brozek, Leah Brozek, and Daniel Brozek; her sister, Johen McCullough; niece, Sabra Houdek; nephews, Mark and Logan McCullough; close friends, the Knapp Family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Norma Luhmann and dear friend, Bette Knapp.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home.
