Jimmy Gilmore

Jimmy C. Gilmore, 69, of Beach Park, Illinois, died on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. Jimmy was born August 24, 1937 in Tupelo, Mississippi and has been a resident of this area for the past 50 years. He was an active member of Victory Baptist Church in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, where he also served as Deacon of the Church. He retired in 1988 from Abbott's after 35 years. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Barbara Ann Gilmore; two sons Kim Gilmore of Zion, Illinois and Kerry (Cindy) Gilmore of Beach Park, Illinois; one grand-daughter; three grand-sons; and two brothers John (Geraldine) Gilmore of Mantachie, Mississippi and Billy Gilmore of Covington, Georgia. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2006, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 8th, at 10:30 a.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Beaver of Victory Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion.
