John Schultz

John W. "Jack" Schultz, 68, of Zion, IL died on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at his home. He was born July 7, 1943 in Des Plaines, IL and has resided in Lake County all of his life. He was employed by Roda Specialty Steel of Wheeling (formerly Soverign Metal of Zion) and he was a member of Gurnee American Legion. Survivors include his children Amber Schultz of Gurnee, and John Paul Schultz of Chicago; one grandson Gabriel Carreon of Gurnee; two brothers Gerhardt (Fran) Schultz of Beach Park and James (Linda) Schultz of Lake Villa; three sisters JoAnne Kapfer of TX, and Jeannine (Joe) Lee and Liz (Leo) Vargas both of Pleasant Prairie, WI; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Gerhardt and Lorraine Schultz. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Interment will be Wednesday, November 23rd, at 11:30 a.m. at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
