Jolene Carr (Blair) affectionately known as "Cootie", Was born on September 6, 1976 in Waukegan, IL to the union of Percy and Thelma Blair Jr. Jolene accepted the Lord and united with The Christian Valley Missionary Baptist Church of North Chicago, IL, under the leadership of Pastor Henry Woods. Jolene married Travis Carr and to this union was born two beautiful children. Rachyl and Donovan Carr. Jolene was preceded in death by her twin brother Joe Allen Blair, Her paternal grandparents, Nathaniel and Anna Armstrong; Her paternal grandfather Percy Blair Sr., Three uncles and two aunts. Jolene leaves to cherish her memory, the father of her children Travis Carr, one daughter Rachyl and one son Donovan of Norfolk, Virginia; Her parents Percy and Thelma Blair Jr., five brothers: Percy Blair III, and (Nancy) of Kenosha, Wis, Joe Blair and (Kathleen) of Waukegan, IL. Johnny (Diane) Blair of Waukegan, IL. James Blair and (Alisha) of Gurnee, II, and Eric Veal of Youngstown, Ohio. One sister Joanna Veal of Youngstown, Ohio. Grandmother Mattie Blair, five aunts: Lula Banks of North Chicago, Il, Betty Vaughn of Zion Il. Jearl (Eddie) Roberts of Darling Miss. Mattic (Rev. Jimmie) Keys of Batesville, Miss., Shelly (Arthur) Guy Racine, Wis. Two uncles: Booker T. Rucker and Randolph Armstrong both of Chicago II, A host of niece's, nephews, relatives and friends too numerous to count. The home going celebration will be Saturday April 10, 2010. Visitation at 10:00 am and Funeral services at 11:00 am at the Christian Valley Missionary Baptist Church, North Chicago, IL. Rev. Henry Woods officiating.
