Judith Ann Sims, a beloved mother, grandmother, and treasured member of her community, passed away peacefully at home on March 28, 2025, at the age of 84 in Beach Park, Illinois. Born on February 1, 1941, in Burlington, Wisconsin.
Judith was a proud graduate of St. Mary’s Catholic School in Burlington, Wisconsin, where she laid the foundation for a lifelong commitment to learning and personal growth.
Judy was an extraordinary woman who enjoyed hosting family holidays. On those holidays her home was always full. Her love for family ran deep and it was returned to her tenfold. She had a kind and compassionate heart and was always willing to help.
In her younger years she enjoyed planting her flowers, raising monarch butterflies and having a vegetable garden. She had been part of the garden club. She loved to paint, and she was also a great quilter.
Judy retired from Abbott and enjoyed many years of traveling across the world.
Our hearts are broken however, we rejoice that she is whole and in the arms of Jesus, where her eternal home is. Judy will be missed here on earth, but our hearts are full knowing she lived her life well. We will cherish all memories. Love you forever, until we see you again.
