Keith Alan Peacy, 49, of Winthrop Harbor, IL passed away Monday, December 13, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. Keith was born August 20, 1972 in Waukegan, IL to Duane and Judith Peacy. He was a previous resident of Zion and Waukegan. Keith attended the Point Church in Winthrop Harbor and the Tabernacle in Kenosha, WI with his family; he was a servant of God who was always ready to help others by volunteering in the food pantry and with Rebuilding Together projects. Keith volunteered his time with medical mission trips to Haiti where he worked with surgical teams performing medical procedures. He also assisted in building group homes truly making a difference in the lives of countless children living in orphanages there. He was a volunteer softball coach in Winthrop Harbor and enjoyed volunteering to support his daughters’ activities. He spent years as a Boy Scout and attained the rank of Eagle Scout. Keith enjoyed camping, attending car shows with his extended family and his motorcycle. Most of all Keith enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Keith retired from the North Chicago Fire Department in November of 2021. He also worked at Winthrop Harbor Fire Department and Bonnie Brook Fire Department in the City of Beach Park. Keith was a devoted husband to Deanna Marie Peacy; loving father to his daughters, Aaliyah, Callie and Kendra; beloved son of Duane and Judith Peacy; and loving brother of Jennifer Rios. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harvey and AnnaMary Hamsing; and paternal grandparents, Harvey and Anita Peacy. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at The Point Church, 900 Lewis Avenue, Winthrop Harbor, IL 60096 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park in Zion, IL.
