Kenneth L. Crede

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Kenneth L Crede. He was called home on Friday November 22nd, 2024 at the young age of 65. Kenny was surrounded by his loving wife, kids, and grandkids during his final moments.

Kenny was born November 4, 1959, in Waukegan, IL. He was a loving man with a great deal of wisdom. As much as he was kind, he was wise. He was the kind of person that would be quick to give you the shirt off his back and stop doing what he was doing to lend a helping hand. He spent his life being an amazing electrician for his career and went above and beyond in his work. He was very particular in how things were done and made sure the job was done right. During his free time he would be tinkering in the garage or finding things to fix whether it be around the house or one of his daughters or granddaughters vehicles. Kenny also enjoyed going up north camping to fish and hunt with his oldest granddaughter Jozalyn, and English pointer Nellie. If he wasn’t working, hunting or fishing, you would find him on the sidelines being the loudest in the crowd as he cheered on his granddaughters during their softball games. He loved the outdoors almost as much as he loved his family. He enjoyed four wheeling, bonfires and rock n roll. He looked forward to the holidays and started a yearly tradition of nerf ball wars every Thanksgiving with his grandkids. He wasn’t only a great husband, father or grandpa, he was an amazing friend. His void here on earth will not go unnoticed. He will be truly missed.

He is survived by his Wife Brenda of 22 years; daughters, Donna of Colorado, Lisa of Mississippi, Dawn of Illinois, and Deanna (John) of Wisconsin; 6 grand-daughters, Jozalyn, Janet, Aaliyah, Alyssa, Isabella, and Gabriella; sister Jan of Arizona; and 2 nieces, Kelly and Natalie.

He was preceded in death by his father James M Crede and his mother Helen L Crede.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday December 14th, 2024 at 11:00 am at Wesley Church 3601 N Lewis Ave, Waukegan, IL 60087. With Pastor Tim Huang officiating.
