Kevin Crane

Kevin Peter Crane, 73, of Winthrop Harbor, IL passed away January 11, 2025, in Kenosha, WI.

Kevin was born October 9, 1951, in Waukegan, IL to Charles and Lucille Crane. On September 21, 1985, Kevin married Barbara (nee Beaty). He belonged to St. Therese Catholic Church in Kenosha, WI. Kevin retired from the North Chicago Post Office after 34 years of service. He was a simple generous man that didn’t need much to be happy. He was happy with working hard, spending time with family and cheering on his children and grandchildren at their games or just simply watching his Chicago teams after church. He will be forever in all of our hearts.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Barbi Crane; children, Tammy (Ty) Rutherford, Ashley (Anthony) Malatesta and Brandon Crane; grandchildren, Dustin Lupo, Adryan Malatesta, Caleb Malatesta and Anthony Malatesta; great grandchild, Mordecai Malatesta; siblings, Carol Thiele, Charles (Regina) Crane, Kathy (Michael) Denyko, Bonny (Walter) Murray, Mary (Kim) Ross, Joseph Crane and countless nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lucille Crane and brother-in-law, Bill Thiele.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday January 21, 2025, at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Warren Cemetery, Gurnee, IL.
