Kimberly Jo Kedrow, 52, of Zion, died on Friday, December 18, 2009 at Glen Lake Terrace in Waukegan, IL.
Kimberly was born March 5, 1957 in Phoenix, Arizona, grew up in Elmwood Park, Illinois and has lived in Zion for the past 10 years. She was a member of Christ Community Church of Zion where she was also active with MOPS and Touchpoint Adult Bible Fellowship. She was a longtime employee of Northrop Grumman of Rolling Meadows, Illinois. Kimberly loved animals and horses and she was a volunteer at Pet Rescue in Bloomingdale, Illinois.
Survivors include her husband of 17 years, James M. Kedrow; one daughter, Rachel Jean Kedrow of Zion; one sister, Geraldine L. Kutz of Roselle, Illinois; a nephew, Marco A. Campobasso of Los Angeles, California; uncle, David A. Blass of Naperville, Illinois and his children, cousins Sandra and Carol of Illinois; and cousins, the Call's of New York state.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Blass Jr. and Jean Mary (nee Fuller) Blass.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 12:00 noon at Christ Community Church, 2500 Dowie Memorial Drive, Zion, with Pastor Jon Wiziarde officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation, 8085 Saltsburg Road, Suite 201, Pittsburgh, PA 15239 have been suggested.
