Larry E. La Belle

Larry E. La Belle, 73, of Pleasant Prairie, WI passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 25, 2019, at home surrounded by his family. Larry was born on February 19, 1946 in Zion, IL to William H. And Evelyn La Belle. He graduated from Zion Benton Township High School. On August 20, 1966, he married Ellen and together they shared 53 years of marriage. Larry proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1966-1968 and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was employed in factories for over 41 years. Larry accepted Jesus as his savior at 12 years old at the Zion Revival Center and went to Awana Club at Grace Missionary Church. He attended Beach Bible Church for over 30 years. His favorite verse was John 3:16 and his favorite song was ,’What a friend we have in Jesus.” Larry is survived by his loving wife, Ellen; sons, Dennis (Leah) La Belle and Darrin (Sarah) La Belle; grandchildren, Brice (Colleen), Logan (Leighana), Noah, Kendra and Allie La Belle; 3 great-grandchildren, Evan, Luke and Olive; sister, Sandra Whitten; sisters-in-law, Deborah (John) Potocek, Jane (Paul) Decesaro, Mary La Belle, and Sharon Hanson; and brothers-in-law, Wayne (Jeanne) Hanson and Robin (Laura) Hanson. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother William O. La Belle. Unfortunately due to the current Stay-At-Home Order in Illinois, the Celebration of Life will be postponed until further notice.
