Loretta "Dolly" Cashmore

Loretta “Dolly” Cashmore, of Wadsworth, Illinois, passed away December 31, 2024. She was born March 27, 1929 in Racine, Wisconsin to parents Charles and Loretta Bohn.

Loretta was a woman of faith. She loved God and family beyond measure. Loretta worked with her parents at Bohn’s Grocery and later became a rural route carrier for the postal service in Waukegan, Illinois. 

Loretta is survived by her children, Susan (Courtney) Bair, Floyd (Joyce) Cashmore, Judy Cashmore, Mary (Bruce) Lofgren, and Sandy (Dennis) Cowen; grandchildren, Angela Bretschneider, Sarah Cashmore, Michael (Christine) Cowen, Brian (Lindsey) Cowen, Lisa (Nate) Fenimore, and Eric Lofgren; and great-grandchildren, Luna Emerson, Rebecca (Owen) Bailey, Abigail Cowen, Meah Cowen, Katelyn Cowen, Sommer Cowen, Harmony Cowen, Journey Cowen, Bravery Cowen, Gabriella Fenimore, Jacob Fenimore, and Everly Fenimore.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd R. Cashmore Sr.; parents, Charles and Loretta Bohn; and siblings, Clyde Bohn and Dolores Clifford.

Visitation will be held Monday January 13, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:30 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home 3012 Sheridan Road Zion, Illinois 60099.
