Lorraine C. Celesnik, while surrounded by her loving family, went home to be with her sweet Jesus on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at St. Joseph's Home for the Aged in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
She was born May 19, 1919 in Chicago and lived in the Waukegan/North Chicago areas from 1940 to 2002. She retired from Fansteel Metallurgical of North Chicago after 25 years of service.
She is survived by her daughter, Joanne (Kenny) Bullock; four grandchildren, Cherie (Todd) Peterson, Jim (Moe) Bullock, Colleen (Steve) Colombus and Theresa (Craig) Timko; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; her brother, Robert Majewski of Arizona; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1994; parents, Frank and Anna Majewski; sisters, Dorothy and Delores; and brothers, George, Larry, Hank, Frank, Lenny and Richard.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 6, 2008 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 15000 Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth, Illinois, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 and entombment at Northshore Garden of Memories in North Chicago.
