Louise MacDonald

Louise MacDonald, 95 of Zion, IL died January 10, 2015 at Rolling Hills Manor in Zion. She was born July 7, 1919 in Macon, Tennessee. Louise loved shopping, baking, and playing cards and games with her family. She always had a bowl of sweets to share with everyone. She was a wonderful grandmother and was loved by all. Louise is survived by her children, Darlene Cain of California, Rick (Roselle) Saxon of Pittsburgh, PA, Judy (Kenn) Chrzanowski of Waukegan, IL, and Harvey Saxon of Illinois; 10 grandchildren, Scott, April, Lisa, Heidi, Jason, Brad, Ryan, Nicholas, Kimberly, and Steven; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Leona Crawford; 5 brothers; and 2 sisters. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL. with a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Northshore Garden of Memories, North Chicago, IL.
