Mary Lou Dillow, 85, of Zion, Formerly of Waukegan, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2007, at Vista East Medical Center in Waukegan.
Mary Lou was born May 8, 1923, in Amasa, MI, and was a 1941 graduate of Waukegan Township High School. She married Earl Dillow Sr. on October 10, 1942, at Ft. Sheridan, IL. Mary Lou variously worked for the old Sears Store in Waukegan, sold Real Estate and for Waukegan Township High School in the Board Office. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, of 64 years, Earl Dillow Sr; sons, Earl (Helen) Dillow Jr. and Mark (Patrice) Dillow, both of Winthrop Habor, 10 grandchildren, Kevin, Kristin, Justin, Mark Louis, Molly, Maggie, Mary, Corrine, Earl III, and Lawrence; four great-grandchildren, Jason, Nikkie, Nathan, and Andrew; and two great-great-grandchildren, Brianna and Matthew; and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Dillow in 2001; her father and mother, Atley and Carmelita Berg; and brother, Glen Berg.
Funeral Services are private for the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to either the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
