Mary Gerline Falk, 73, of Pleasant Prairie, Wis., formerly of Red Bay, Ala., and Frostproof, Fla., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, at the Lake View Specialty Hospital, Waterford, Wis.
Mary was born June 2, 1936, in Rienzi, Miss., and married David Falk on May 8, 1954, in Fulton, Miss. She was formerly employed as a worker for the Zion Bakery, Zion, Ill., and then as a licensed practical nurse for United Hospital in Kenosha, and the Woodstock and Washington Manor Nursing Homes in Kenosha. Mary also spent some time working with her husband David as a truck driver. Finally, she was also a homemaker. Mary was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was someone you could always count on to be there for you no matter your troubles. No words can express the impact of her loss. Her passing was Earth's loss and Heaven's gain.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, David; daughter, Vicki (Jeremy) Faint of Kenosha, Wis.; a son, Michael (Debby) Falk of Avon Park, Fla.; grandchildren, Celia, Marisha, and Cynthia Falk, and Amanda and Brianna Faint; great granddaughter, Kylie Granger; sisters, Betty Hastings of Pleasant Prairie, Wis., and Sherry (Ralph) Scott of Chesapeake, Va.; brother, Clayton (Sue) Hastings of Beach Park, Ill., and James (Jane) Hastings of Pleasant Prairie, Wis.; and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Olice and Nellie Hastings.
