Mary Margaret Rosasco, 99, of Trevor, WI, entered into eternal life on Saturday, January 5, 2008, at the home of her granddaughter, Linnae (Mike) Heiny, and great-grandchildren, Emily and Joshua Heiny. Margaret was born December 3, 1908, in Chicago, IL, and moved to Zion in 1947. She was active with the city of Zion as a "Fire Belle", and with the Zion Senior Citizens. Margaret was a housewife for most of her life, but she also was once employed by King's Furniture in Waukegan. She loved to travel and had a great love of dogs. Margaret was also grateful for friends that were of great assistance in her final years. She is survived by daughter, Alice Pokryfke of Twin Lakes, WI; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Rosasco; son, Robert Rosasco; a sister, Agnes; parents, Elmer and Alice Herro; and son-in-law, Richard Pokryfke. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2008,at 10:00 a.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Visitation will be Monday, January 7, 2008, from 5:00-8:00 p.m at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to the Zion Fire and Rescue Dept., 2828 Sheridan Rd., Zion, Ill. 60099
