Marylynn Greener, 65, of Beach Park, Illinois passed away unexpectedly on October 3, 2020, while she and her BEST FRIEND and husband Leonard were at their cottage in Eagle River, Wisconsin. This was their favorite place to spend time, and they had two beautiful weeks together before Marylynn suddenly became ill.
Marylynn was born in Waukegan, Illinois on August 15, 1955 to Melvin and Lillian Drinkwine. She married her “scooping the loop” sweetheart Leonard A. Greener on June 2, 1973. They were blessed with a son and the love of their life, Nicholas, who preceded her in death on October 7, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents and her three brothers Melvin, Robert and Richard. She is survived by her husband Leonard Greener, her two sisters Jacqueline J. Hochenauer and Ruthellen Falstad, loving nieces and nephews, and many caring friends.
Marylynn loved riding with Lenny on their Harley (as the picture shows). Another favorite pastime was fishing on their dock or riding in the pontoon boat in Eagle River. She had a real gift for crafting and a basement to compete with Hobby Lobby’s inventory. She made the most beautiful quilts and gifted many family members which will be wonderful to snuggle in and think of her.
Marylynn had a great love for animals and therefore, in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Marylynn’s honor to Fat Cat Rescue. Fat Cat Rescue, 15290 Rosecrans Road Rte 173, Wadsworth IL 60083. https://www.fatcatrescueinc.org.
