Matthew Porras

Matthew David Porras, of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, passed away September 4, 2024. He was born July 2, 1982 in Libertyville, Illinois to parents Jeffrey and Patricia Porras.

Matthew previously lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming as well as Zion, Illinois. He graduated from Community Based Occupational Education in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Matthew was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and the Larramie County Democratic Party.

He is survived by his parents, Jeffrey and Patricia Porras; siblings, Kenneth Porras, Kristi Tysdal, Kimberly and Martin Bonoan, Jason and Patricia Ryerson, and Amanda Biggs; grandparents, David and Virginia Porras; and 17 nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Marian Krueger, Lorelei Huestis, and Richard Wells; aunt, Mary Brown; uncle, Ron Wells; cousin, Kevin Krueger; and uncle, Joseph Porras.

A memorial visitation will be held Monday September 16 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Lutheran Church 2001 80th Street Kenosha, Wisconsin followed by a memorial service at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to The American Heart Association or Autism Speaks.
