Nancy Kulow

Nancy Kulow, 63, of Waukegan, IL, born to eternal life September, 12, 2013 at Vista East in Waukegan, IL. Nancy was born March 19, 1950 in Evanston, IL. She spent several years in Connecticut and Colorado, where she loved the mountain view. Nancy was a free spirit who loved nature and a deep passion of animals. Nancy is survived by her mother Marilyn Benjamin; sister Donna (David) Salgado; nephews James (Kristen) Froelich, Patrick (Pam) Froelich, Marcos Salgado, Andres Salgado, Esteban Salgado and Christopher Dietz; niece Colleen Dietz; a special friend Larry Clark; and her beloved cats Harley and Hannah. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Dietz, step-father Vern Benjamin; brothers Gary and Scott Dietz; grandparents Robert and Genevieve Wendelken; and her partner of many years Jimmy Taylor. Visitation will be held September 17, 2013 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. A funeral service will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Patrick Froelich officiating. Donations to your local animal shelter in Nancy's name would be appreciated.
