Nina Pauley Sheffield

Nina Pauley Sheffield, 86, of Beach Park, IL passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Hospice Alliance in Pleasant Prairie, Wi and is now free of pain. She was born March 3, 1929 in Ivaton, WV to the late Ward and Hattie Pauley. She graduated from Van High School. Nina was a loving mother who believed that raising her children and making a loving home was her calling on this earth. Nina enjoyed camping and traveling the country. She is survived by her husband Armand; children Diana Kelly of Brandon, FL, Dana (Connie) Kelly of Menominee, WI, Pamela Hansen of Kenosha, WI, Michael (Karen) Kelly of Colorado Springs, CO, and Rebecca (John) Whitefoot of Pleasant Prairie, WI; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and by two brothers and one sister in West Virginia. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 21, 2015, from 10:00 until 12:00 noon at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Pineview Memorial Park, Beach Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hospice Alliance in Pleasant Prairie, WI have been suggested.
