Norma Miskell

Norma "Granny" Miskell, 80, of Waukegan, Illinois, died on Friday, September 3, 2010 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. She was born July 13, 1930 in Princeton, Indiana and has been a resident of Lake County since 1965. Norma enjoyed embroidering quilts and many people still have those quilts to remember her by. Survivors include her children, Wayne (Judi) Hensley of Kenosha, Wisconsin and Cindy (Bill Miller) Gajewski of Waukegan, Illinois; five grandchildren, Kathy Willis, Stephanie Young, Dan Hensley, Melissa Hunter and Mitch Gajewski Jr.; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Virginia (James) Ryan of Evansville, Indiana and Sherman Miskell of Princeton, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Charles and Leva Miskell. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 8, 2010, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m., Rev. Ken Langley officiating.
