Peggy Doreen Kisner (nee O'Dell), 77, of Kenosha, died on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at Sheridan Medical Complex in Kenosha.
Peggy was born May 13, 1929 in Luton, Bedfordshire, England and came to the United States in 1963. Before moving here, she worked at the NCO Club at RAF Mildenhall AFB in England and she worked for the Post Office and at a hat manufacturing company, both in England. In her early years she enjoyed dancing and in her later years was an avid Gardner and enjoyed sewing.
Survivors include her three sons Terry (Barbara) Hale of Luton, Bedfordshire, England, Raymond Kisner of Kenosha, Wisconsin and David (Tina) Kisner of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin; two grandchildren Avonlea and Elijah Kisner both of Pleasant Prairie; and two sisters Nellie Plater of Luton, Bedfordshire, England and Queenie McInvale of Reynolds, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond R. Kisner Jr., Air Force SMSGT-Retired, and one sister Greta Varty.
Services will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion, Illinois, with Dr. Dave Dreyer of Immanuel Baptist Church of Kenosha officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Air Force Aid Society, www.afas.org has been suggested.
