Ricky Daywalt

Ricky Daywalt, 66, of Beach Park, IL passed away on October 23, 2022 in Waukegan, IL. He was born on December 4, 1955 in Waukegan, IL the son of Donald and Vivian (Brooks) Daywalt.

Ricky graduated from Waukegan High School class of 1974, shortly after he started to work as a machinist at Ammco in North Chicago, IL and then later became self-employed. In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors, either downhill skiing, snowmobilings, or watching dirt track racing. He loved being a pit crew chief for his friends at the tracks. Ricky cared for his beloved pet dogs and cats.

Ricky is survived by his mother Vivian Daywalt; brother Steven (Mia) Daywalt; nephew, John (Tori) Daywalt; aunts, Rosalie Daywalt, Mildred Brooks; and several cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father Donald Daywalt; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. following a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL 60099. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Libertyville, IL.
