Rita Mae Feltner

Rita Mae Feltner of Beach Park, IL formally of Zion, IL passed away September 20, 2021, at home. Rita was born November 7, 1944, in Gratiot, WI. Rita was a mother, grandmother, homemaker and babysitter to all. Rita had a heart of gold and would help everyone. She was a huge Elvis fan. She loved playing cards, doing puzzles, spending time with family, going to bingo and going to the VFW to listen to music and dancing. Everyone she met loved her and no matter who you were, everyone called her grandma and enjoyed her company. Rita is survived by three children, Cindy Wagner, Tammy (Rob) Feltner Peterson and Brian (Beth) Feltner; grandchildren, Jonathan Wagner, David (Sheila Sanders) Wagner, Stephanie (Charles Booker) Wagner; great-grandchild, Jacier Booker; several sisters and brothers and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, John Heibner; brother, John Heibner and son-in-law, David Wagner. Visitation will take place Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 1:00 until 3:30 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL. Graveside services will take place Monday, October 4, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at North Shore Garden of Memories in North Chicago, IL.
