Robert E. "Bob" Burton, 71, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, died on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha.
Robert was born May 13, 1938 in Kenosha. He worked for International Harvester in Libertyville, retiring in 1981, for Payhauler in Aurora, Illinois until 1991 and later with George Neave Construction of Zion and Yocco Trucking Company in Racine. He served in the United States Air Force from 1955 until 1958.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Donita; children, Ronnie Bryant Jr.-Burton of West Palm Beach, Florida, Robbie (Tracy) Burton of Wilmot, Wisconsin and Bradley (Toni) Shuler of Kenosha; three grandchildren, Hunter Shuler, Lilly Shuler and Ayden Burton; one brother, David (Debbie) Piktel of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois.
and several loving sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Jim Piktel, Bill (Donna) Burton and Don Burton; and his parents, Earl and Marie Burton.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 14, 2010, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 15th, at 10:30 a.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Greenridge Cemetery, Kenosha, Wisconsin.
