Robert Rodriguez

Robert "Bob" Rodriguez, 61 of Beach Park, IL, died September 5, 2012. Bob was born September 18, 1950 in Waukegan, IL. He loved his cats, Jeep, Squeak, and Annie. He was a fan of Gary Fisher Bikes and was an avid Mountain Biker. He was an accomplished musician and enjoyed playing guitar in various bands, including Alto Pass and Missing In Action. Bob was one of the NorthShore's finest skilled artists and painters, having worked on many businesses and private residences. Bob is survived by one aunt, Shirley Schroff of Grayslake, IL; four cousins, Scott Umfress of Los Angeles, CA, Brad and Brent Umfress of Grayslake, IL, and Jodi (Al) Rice of Waukegan, IL; second cousins, Zach, Jeremy and Ariana Rice, and Braeden Umfress; childhood friend, Charlie Alden; dear friend Connie Walther; and close friends of the family, Roger and Judy Friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Helen Rodriguez. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, September 17, 2012 at Steven's Restaurant, 401 North Riverside Dr., Gurnee, IL 60031, from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the family would be greatly appreciated.
