Robin Clark-Jones

Robin Lynne Clark 55, of North Chicago, IL made her transition to be with the Lord on Friday, September 6, 2019. Robin was born on July 1, 1964 at Lake Forest Hospital, the second child of the late Randall Clark Jr. and Billie Jean Clark.

Robin’s early education was in North Chicago’s school system and she graduated from North Chicago High School in 1982 and obtained her Bachelor of Science from Illinois State University in 1988.  Robin had a career in education and she taught in several schools in IL and WI. She retired in 2017 due to health issues.

Robin began her Christian education at Mt. Sinai Institutional Baptist Church in North Chicago, IL where she accepted Christ at an early age.  Robin was active in church participating in the Youth Choir, Red Circle Choir, The Voices, the Sinaits, and Voices of Inner Peace.  Later, she joined Jesus Name Apostolic Church in Waukegan, IL were she taught Sunday School and was a member of the choir.

Robin is survived by her mother, Billie Jean Clark of North Chicago, IL, brothers Derrick (Debora) Clark of Brown Deer, WI, Randall (Sylvia) Clark III of North Chicago, IL, uncles Frank (Pat) Warren of Evanston, IL, Robert G. (Brenda) Clark Jr. of Beach Park, IL, aunt Barbara Martin of Zion, IL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; a special Sister-In-Law Maritza (Carlos) Sanchez of Zion, IL and Best Friend Melinda Charles of Knightdale, NC.

Robin was preceded in death by her father Randall Clark Jr., brother Roderick Clark, grandparents Raymond and Mattie Pearl Warren, Randall and Johnnie B. Clark, and cousin Keith Martin.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., Funeral Services to follow at 11:00 A.M.. Interment will be private.
