Robin Nicole Spice (nee Brock), 40, of Kenosha, WI died December 13, 2016 at home.
She was born August 24, 1976 in Waukegan, IL. She came down with diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and migraine headaches at the age of 11, however, she said she did not want her conditions to hold her back in life. Robin was a cheerleader in Central Junior High School, and was on the Zion Benton High School Sparkette squad her Sophomore, Junior and Senior years, being Captain of the squad her Senior year. She became an EMT on the Winthrop Harbor Fire Department after graduation while working and going to College of Lake County. She loved playing the piano and was on the Wesley Church music ministry team.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rodney “Joe” Brock; her aunts, Frances Caperson and Mary Thatcher; uncles, Gary Thatcher and Timothy Brock; and her grandparents.
Survivors include her daughter, Corynn Spice; son, Owen Spice; mother, Nancy Brock; brother, Joshua Brock; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Wesley Free Methodist Church, 3601 N. Lewis Ave., Waukegan, IL. In lieu of flowers, please give Memorial donations to Nancy Brock.
