Roger Cross

Roger Cross, 66, of Winthrop Harbor, IL died on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Advocate Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL. He was born January 1, 1949 in Antigo, WI. Roger was self employed as a carpet installer in Lake County, retiring in 2005. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Eileen; children Cathleen (Bill) Eager of Zion, IL, Brian (Missy) Cross of Zion, IL, Steven (Ginna) Cross of Kenosha, WI, Christopher (Brittany) Cross of TN, and Matthew Cross of Winthrop Harbor, IL; ten grandchildren Kayla, Autumn, Caden, Kenzie, Austin, Cameron, Gwyneth, Kaitlyn, Eloise, and Silas; siblings Carol (Ken) Johnson of GA, Betti Cross of ID, Russell (Betty) Cross of WI, Janet (Ron) Brewer of IL, Bobby (Kim) Cross of WI, Beverly (Mike) Robinson of WI, Rick Cross of WI, and Rodney (Marie) Cross of WI; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Russell and Voldean Cross. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 16, 2015, from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Christian Center, 2600 Lewis Avenue, Zion, IL. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Tim Eddy officiating.
