On July 25, 2024, Chief Petty Officer Ron Adair went to meet his lord and savior. A loving husband to Pati Adair and the best father he knew how to be to Tiffany and Tyne; PopPop to Kelly, Dominic, Lana, Ryan, Matthew and Brieanna, who were his world. A brother to Don, Tony and Jimmy, and a loving son to his mother, Audrey and stepmother Josephine (Babe) and a friend to many of those who knew him.
Ron served his country for 23 years in the U.S. Navy, primarily as a Master at Arms (MA) with his canine partner (Duke). Together they were deployed quite often in numerous conflicts and campaigns, some of which were quite dangers (searching for unexploded bombs as an example). From there Ron went on to spend the following years as a Restauranteur, Businessman and Leader in the community. He was an active member of The Point Church where he recently was ordained as an Elder. He never hesitated in sharing his testimony, in the hopes of making a difference in people’s lives. Ron always wanted to be thought of as someone who could welcome anyone into his home and feed them a good meal. Someone who always had an ear to listen and a shoulder to cry on. Someone who always tried to make people comfortable and wanted, even if they didn’t think they were. A man who loved Jesus, his family, his friends and country music in that order.
Ron is preceded in death by his father James Adair, and stepfather Joe B. White.
