Rosalie J. Barnett, 81, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2021 in Lindenhurst, IL. She was born on August 21, 1940 the daughter of Ralph and Ruby (nee Lau) Lucas in Oconto, WI. Rosalie previously resided in Zion, IL and worked for Chrysler. Rose loved to play bingo, and sing in the Barton Christmas Choir. Rose leaves behind her children, Jamie (Robin) Barnett, Greg Barnett, Scott Barnett, grandchildren; Jeremy Barnett, Jacklyn (Tommy) Adcock, Brittney Barnett, Jennifer Barnett, Tim Schwab, great-grandchildren; Kailyn Rios, Thomas Adcock, Bobbi Jo Davis, Layla Adcock, siblings; Ronny( Martha) Lucas, twin brother Ray (Carolyn) Lucas, Dee (Dennis) Donlevy, Mary (Scott Hanzen) Anderson, Chris (Colin) Anderson, sister-in-law; Barb Lucas, Judy (Franz) LaMacchia, brother-in-law; Kenneth Barnett, numerous nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by her husband Douglas "Doug" Barnett, her parents, siblings; Harold "Ace" Lucas, Ralph Lucas, Allen Lucas, Barb Lucas, Gail Nelson, Edith Rush, nephew; Ronny "Dusty" Lucas, Todd Lucas, and Jeff Lucas. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home 3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099.
