Rosalynne R. Giacomel, 56, of Hawthorn Woods, Illinois, died on Wednesday, November 10, 2010. Rosalynne was born April 3, 1954 in Greensburg, Pennsylvania and moved to Zion in 1986. She attended Christ Church of Lake Forest. Rosalynne was retired from the Lake County Sheriffs's Department. Survivors include her fiancé, Keith Skaathun; two sons, Richard Lann of Hawthorn Woods, Illinois and Ryan (Amy) Lann of Saginaw, Texas; her daughter-in-law, Frances Hjelmeseth (Andrew) of Paddock Lake, Wisconsin; step-children, Britt (Mark) Livak and Tory Skaathun both of Chicago; grandchildren, Cassidy, Ryan Jr., Jacob, Katey, Rhiannon, Riley, Reagan, Felicidy, and Serenidy; her mother, Genevieve Miller of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin; her father, Raymond Giacomel, McCullough, Pennsylvania; and siblings, Raymond (Debbie) Giacomel II of Greenwood, South Carolina and Pamela (Robert) Kelly of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Steve Proskin and Scott Proskin; and by her father, William "Buck" Miller. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 19, 2010, at 5:00 p.m. at Christ Church Lake Forest, 100 North Waukegan Road, Lake Forest, Illinois 60045. Visitation will be Friday from 3:00 p.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Love INC of Lake County, P.O.Box 7796, Gurnee, Illinois 60031 has been suggested.
