Rosela "Lucy" Kramer, 64, of Green Cove Springs, FL, formerly of Waukegan, IL, died on Wednesday , June 12, 2013, at Midwestern Regional Medical Center, Zion, IL.
She was born April 8, 1949, in the Philippines. She came to the United States a US Navy wife of George Dale Kramer. They were married for 30 years - she was widowed due to cancer in 2002. Rosela moved to Florida after her husband's death. She battled cancer the last 2 years of her life & passed peacefully due to unforeseen complications during her treatment.
Rosela was a mother, a sister, a wife and a friend. She was a small woman who made a big impact in people's lives she knew. Those close to her know she had her own way of doing things. She loved gardening and taking care of animals. Her smile will be remembered and she will not be forgotten.
Survivors include her children, Wilfreda (Richard) Brown of Burlington, WI, George V. (Deneice) Kramer of Duluth, MN, and Mary (Jeremy) Deram of Waukegan, IL; grandchildren, Morganne, Kramer, Dutton, Minna, Devyn, Cadence, Kyra, Grayson, Penelope, and Millicent. Rosela is also survived by 3 brothers and 3 sisters; and their children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Dale Kramer; father and mother, Facundo and Liberata Bolando; and brothers, Facundo Bolando Jr. and Vicente Bolando.
A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date. Memorial donations are suggested to the Assistance in Healthcare Foundation, 2520 Elisha Ave., Zion, IL.
